Brandon | Destination Colorado High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2018

Each season, we’re excited to have a handful of seniors who come to us for destination portraits in Colorado Springs. Brandon’s family was one of those! They are from the Colorado Springs area but reside in Kansas. With their love of the mountains, it was an easy decision to travel back to this area for Brandon’s senior portraits.

Brandon has a variety of interests from guitar and video games to movies and books. He’s in a metal band back home. When the school year ends, Brandon has enlisted in the army and will begin basic training shortly after graduation. We are thankful for the service he will give to our country.

His family loved the idea of the Senior Experience multi-hour, multi-location session in order to have the variety of combining urban with rustic settings within the session. We helped match him to downtown Colorado Springs for the urban portion and Red Rock Canyon for the natural, rustic setting. We were able to find some pockets of fall color for his session. The day of his session was insanely windy, so it was helpful he’s got short hair as you can’t even tell the power of the wind. Jon and Brandon explored some high points in Red Rock Canyon for some stellar, top-of-the-world views. We love the combination and contrast of his backgrounds and the adventurous spirit led to some truly unique, scenic settings in the Canyon.
