&#038; Julie&#8217;s Wedding Photography | Shining Mountain Golf Club, Woodland Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Derrick &amp; Julie were married August 13th and had a beautiful Colorado day, complete with sun, light rain, and dramatic Colorado skies. \u00a0This wedding day was such a fun time since we got to see two of our past wedding couples in attendance &#8211; The Mays and Grahams are both close friends of Derrick &amp; Julie, and it was so awesome to catch up with each of these fantastic couples and actually know some of the guests at a wedding! \u00a0We also knew another family from photographing them for a session a couple years back. \u00a0To top that off, while at The Broadmoor, Julie and I realized that we both attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) for undergrad, and her sister and I knew each other and lived in the same dorm freshman year &#8211; what a small world!!<\/p>\n<p>Julie began her day at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.broadmoor.com\/\">The Broadmoor<\/a>, and after enjoying some relaxing spa services, had her hair and make-up done in the Salon there. \u00a0After that, we traveled up the pass to Woodland Park to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shiningmountaingc.com\/golf\/Pages\/weddingsmain.htm\">Shining Mountain Golf Club<\/a>. \u00a0The Club is in a beautiful setting with some great mountain views. \u00a0It&#8217;s rustic and quaint and seemed like a perfect location for Derrick &amp; Julie&#8217;s wedding. \u00a0They are a down-to-earth couple who love Colorado and the outdoors, and throughout their ceremony it was so clear that they just adore each other. \u00a0It was an invitation to watch two best friends become husband and wife. \u00a0I just love that!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
