Every year we attend one of the two main photography conventions held each year. This year, we returned to the WPPI ( Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) Convention, held in Las Vegas, NV. We love annual convention for a number of reasons…it keeps us energized and inspired in our field, connects us with other professionals and our labs and vendors, drives us to stay current in both our craft and our product offerings, and gives us new ideas and education. All of this benefits our amazing clients who choose us for their professional photography! While normally we aren’t very excited to be in Las Vegas (you are free to call us crazy if you love it there), we made it a point to see Cirque du Soleil’s performace of “KA” and LOVED it. It was beyond amazing!! Definitely a highlight of our time there. And other highlights were getting to see Randy (our guy at proLab, Miller’s) and Mark Zucker and his team with Zookbinders, our album company. We also connected with our canvas lab, Simply Canvas, and got to see some of Jon’s work used in display and advertising for both Simply Canvas and Zookbinders.
