GRADUATION!

Heidi is a talented, athletic high school senior who is both humble and quiet until you see her perform. She shines when she’s on stage or competing in track. She’s ranked #2 in the state for triple jump. When she dances, her favorite style is hip hop, and Jon had a blast creating some dynamic hip hop portraits in Downtown Colorado Springs. With her long list of talents and accomplishments, Heidi hasn’t decided yet whether her future holds a career as an engineer, professional dancer, performer, or track athlete…or maybe a combination of lots of these! No matter the path ahead, this girl is going places!
We’re excited to share portraits from her Senior Experience session that used locations in Monument Valley Park and Downtown Colorado Springs (and a final set in Garden of the Gods to create a stunning silhouette and capture her in the rustic beauty of Colorado). Her session highlights the variety achieved from our multi-hour session that uses multiple locations and more opportunities for outfit changes and featuring the senior’s strengths and activities.

Lacey loves life and has a vibrant, fun, and quirky personality. She’s talented and creative – she made the hoodie shown in a couple of her portraits! – and has been an active part of Air Academy High School’s color guard with the marching band. She’s involved in National Honor Society and the video game & animé club. When she’s not at school, she enjoys hiking with her family and traveling. Some of her favorite places are Moab and anywhere with the ocean. As her high school time ends and she looks ahead to college, Lacey hopes to continue with color guard and loves studying world history.
Enjoy favorites from her Senior Experience photography session that used the locations of Manitou Springs, Cheyenne Cañon, and Garden of the Gods. We just love the special portrait of her holding her portrait from the first day of Kindergarten – what a wonderful way to celebrate the beginning and end of the traditional school years.
Our best to you, Lacey, as you finish strong and look ahead to all that is in store for you! Keep that effervescence about you – it’s contagious and draws others to you. We know big things are ahead.

Each year, we have the opportunity to create family portraits for families who live out of state. The Pfau family vacationed in our area this past summer, and they were excited for updated portraits featuring a different landscape than their hometown in Nevada. We loved creating these portraits for them and know they are loving their wall art in their home. Our goal for our families is to create memories and fun family moments within the session itself that become legacy art pieces in the home. We know that photographs powerfully connect us with memories and emotions, and it’s an honor to know that the portraits we create today outlive us and will be passed down to future generations.

We truly enjoyed seeing this family back with us for senior portraits! Grace is outgoing and creative. She loves writing, her dachshund Lola, faith, and marching band. In marching band, she is part of the color guard and is also in winter guard. In symphonic band, she plays the oboe. As part of her experiences with AAHS’s band programs, she loved participating in Super Regionals in St. Louis where they placed 9th overall.
She chose our Senior Session and Cheyenne Cañon for her location. Her family is planning for a move out of state soon, so we love that the Colorado beauty is featured in her senior pictures. As she looks to what lies ahead after graduation, Grace plans to pursue a degree in teaching. We know she has the dedication, work ethic, and caring spirit to serve her future students well!
