How special to have a session devoted to a mom and daughter! And maybe even more special when you have a whole bunch of brothers in your family! The Buell Family traveled from Indiana out to Colorado Springs for a family vacation and chose us for a family photography session while here. The timing of their trip was during the start of the Waldo Canyon Fire, so their entire plan had to be revamped…including their session since nearly every park and open space in our city were closed. They had wanted Garden of the Gods as the setting for their session, and we ended up being able to adjust and offer them a couple different locations using a portion of the Cheyenne Canyon area that was not closed and then taking them to the Mesa Overlook to have the mountain views and Garden of the Gods formations. They have great images and portraits to capture the unique memories of a vacation out to the mountains. We had a great time with them. Enjoy our favorites!

The DuToit Family found us through Groupon, and this was a great opportunity to provide them with their first professional family portraits in Colorado! Yes, you can tell by the scenery and their coats that this was a session from last fall, but we wanted to feature their session now since NOW is the time to be booking fall family sessions if you’re wanting the beauty of fall and cooler weather for your session! Our schedule is filling up already for August and September, and since fall time is one of our busiest and most-requested times, don’t wait to book!! We’d recently posted from Eli’s two-year portraits, and we’re excited to share the newborn and 6-month baby portrait favorites of little brother, Noah! It’s such a treat to share the milestones of our families and watch kids change and photograph the newest additions to our families.
