Ashley & Hunter | Wedding Photography

Ashley & Hunter planned a great wedding day that was intimate, fun, and romantic. I think they loved how everything came together in the end. We love that they really made the most of their photography experience on their day, giving us opportunities to get creative on the grounds of the Air Force Academy, Garden of the Gods, and downtown Colorado Springs. We ended their time with us by treating them to cake at Montague’s just south of downtown. It’s a cute and cozy coffee shop and dessert cafe and a great end to the day. I personally don’t think you can have a wedding day without cake!! We have so many favorites from their wedding day!

Alexis & Her Dad | Children & Family Portraits

Alexis came to Colorado Springs for a very special visit with her grandmother and her dad! Her grandmother wanted to capture some beautiful portraits in the junior bridesmaid dress and then a variety of other great pictures. Jon started indoors for the studio portraits and then found some great spots in their own backyard for outdoor portraits. It was a perfect summer evening for it! Here are some favorites…

Kaden | 6 month baby portraits

Kaden is growing up fast, though he still has a ways to go to have hair on that head! His family had just moved into a new home, and we were amazed at how much “moving in” they had accomplished in so little time! We had to work really hard for these smiles, but it’s always worth the extra effort! Enjoy these favorites…

Daddy can get me to smile!

Anya | Liberty High School Class of 2011 Senior Portraits

Anya’s session began during a HUGE lightening/thunder/rain storm…one of those where you believe that we definitely are the 3rd most likely county in the country to get struck by lightening… So, we revamped slightly and got to start her session inside the Fine Arts Center. By the time we finished some modern images there, the storm had passed, and we had beautiful weather for the rest of the session! Anya gave us a “first” by bringing her pet cat for her pictures. We’ve seen lots of dogs and even tropical birds, but this was a first for a cat outdoors! Her kitten is so small that she slipped out of the leash she was on, but thankfully, didn’t get far. We visited Monument Valley Park, Downtown, Old Colorado City, and the Garden of the Gods area for her session. Here are some favorites!
