Tonight was the monthly gathering of the Christian Photography Guild, and the group decided to get creative and have fun at the Memorial Park Skate Park. Talk about an amazing place with some great local talent! I was blown away by the jumps these guys were doing…and some as young as 10 years old. Way to go, guys! Here are the favorites from a great time just having fun with photography…

We met the Franey Family at the Pine Creek High School photography fair that was happening at the same time as parent-teacher conferences this Spring. Their son, Luke, just completed his freshman year (that’s always such a good feeling!) and they’d been wanting to do a family session for a long time! Their daughter, Sarah, is married now but she and her husband, Scott, make it down to the Springs often. They chose the beautiful Garden of the Gods for their session. Alice had mentioned to Jon that she wanted to do a short hike to one spot for the pictures, and little did Jon know, it was an actual 15 minute hike! But, for any of you who know him, you know that Jon is always up for anything! They are a truly wonderful family that we have loved getting to know! Here are a few of their favorites…
Newborn Olivia was born last month and is the second child for our friends, Ben & Christi. Olivia’s Big Brother Samuel is loving his little sis! Natalie and Samuel are great buddies, and we’re betting that Olivia and Tyler will be fast friends as they get older! We loved taking some newborn pictures of Olivia and a few with Christi as well. Precious moments…

We had such fun getting to work with Madelynn and her family! Her dad is a musician, so we got to get creative with her portraits and included two different guitars, the microphone, and a snare drum! Madelynn is such a sweet and beautiful little girl; we’re excited to share favorites from her session with you!
I drive by this park twice a day and I always think it would be cool to try these types of pictures.
