Our Clients are Restaurant Owners of Chicken Salad Chick Colorado Springs!

We are honored to be the family photographer for the Garretts since 2015. It has been so fun to watch their kids grow up over the years and create legacy art for their home that tells the story of each season of life.

Today we are celebrating with the Garretts as their dream becomes reality. It was truly special to attend a preview of their restaurant today! On Wednesday (June 28th), Colorado Springs’ FIRST Chicken Salad Chick has its GRAND OPENING at 10 am. Located at 5660 Barnes Rd (NW corner of Powers & Barnes), they serve a wide variety of chicken salad and yummy sides. We truly enjoyed all the flavors we sampled today. Pro tip: the Grape Salad is incredible. That alone will bring you back!

Jonathan provided all the photographic art displayed throughout the restaurant that features scenes from all over the Colorado Springs area. He will also be photographing the ribbon cutting at the grand opening.

Can’t wait to watch their success. CHECK THEM OUT!!

Samuel | Falcon High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2023

Samuel is finishing up his senior year at Falcon High School. He enjoys drawing and playing video games. He wanted a woodsy feel for some of his portraits as well as an industrial feel to match the setting of his video games, so we chose Manitou Springs for his portrait session. The result is a diverse collection of images that showcase his personality and interests. We loved that he included his kindergarten picture in one of his images!

Samuel plans to pursue a degree in design or animation next year. Congrats to Samuel on his graduation!

Daneaja | Liberty High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2023

Daneaja is a senior at Liberty High School who has lots of passions including fashion, up-cycling, sewing, and art. She is involved with the Stomp Team and enjoys the thrill of thrift shopping and finding plants for her home. Downtown Colorado Springs was a great location to create a diverse collection of images, including some that highlight her passion for reading and learning. Her simple, yet formal outfits were a beautiful contrast to the urban backgrounds. We love all of the different textures and lighting that make these images truly unique.

Daneaja plans to pursue a degree in neuroscience. Congrats to Daneaja on her graduation!

The Suckow Family | Colorado Springs Family Portraits

As kids grow up and start moving away to pursue their own passions, it’s important to capture the family when they are all together. The Suckow family wanted outdoor portraits with a neutral background to capture this unique season, including life with their 2 year-old Golden Retriever. Outdoor photography in the winter can be tricky with Colorado’s unpredictable weather, but the freshly fallen snow created a beautiful backdrop in the woods at Fox Run Park. We love the winter feel that these stunning portraits have!

The Smith Family | Studio Family Photography

Many families, like the Smith family, are spread out across different cities and states, so it’s an honor when families prioritize portraits when they are all together. The Smith family wanted a casual, studio feel for their images with a variety of groupings including the full group, couples, and individuals. They chose one of our favorite options for prints- unframed metal- which looks stunning either hung or resting in the bamboo stands. We hope the Smith family enjoys their finished pieces to celebrate their family in this season.
