Although Caleb graduated this past spring from The Village High School, we didn’t want to miss the chance to feature his senior portraits that showcase the natural fall beauty of Colorado Springs as well the ice rink that Caleb has spent countless hours on as a high school hockey player.
Caleb is looking into the potential of playing hockey at a higher level this coming year. Congrats to Caleb on his graduation!

We would be remiss if we didn’t feature these twin’s senior portraits that spanned both studio and urban settings around Colorado Springs. It is a high compliment to have families return to our studio to celebrate their many different milestones. Sicily and Sylas graduated from Discovery Canyon in the spring of 2022. During high school, Sicily ran track and also managed the football team while Sylas played football and wrestled. Both of these athletes wanted to capture their respective sports in the studio setting: the result is stunning.
Sicily also enjoys singing and plans to pursue a degree in psychology. Sylas loves anime and plans to focus on engineering. Congrats to these two graduates of 2022!

Each year we love offering a destination portrait weekend to our local Colorado Springs families. It brings an opportunity for a gorgeous setting outside of our area while still working with your local portrait artist. We’ve often done fall time in past years, so this year we switched things up for summer! The Sauerweins have been with us for their portraits since 2015 when their daughter was born, and catching up with them each year is an annual highlight for us! We had a blast with them in Twin Lakes and even finished out our time with them with a stop for an ice cream treat in Buena Vista since they were the final portrait session of the day. We had so many favorites from their portraits and are excited to share a handful of those.
Sauerweins, your family is very special to us and your loyalty and trust in us each year is truly our highest compliment.

We met the Perez family in 2020 and loved seeing them back for planning both family and senior portraits in 2022! Dad’s vision for family portraits definitely peaked our interest and excitement. He’s been picturing splatter paint with photography both of the fun and laughter splattering and then final portraits showcasing the colors as a picture of the closeness and connectedness of his family. Once we solved the location challenge by his openness to his own property for the session, we were set! Jon had a blast bringing the vision to life, and we are thrilled with the finished portraits.

Part 2 of our time photographing the Gull Wing Group highlights the amazing experience they enjoyed at The Royal Gorge Bridge. The team from the Royal Gorge did such a wonderful job helping coordinate parking all the gull wings on the bridge. We partnered with our certified drone pilot to create these phenomenal portraits and video that would not have been possible without the benefits of the drone. The coordination for all of this had to happen within a 20-minute window of time, and we’re thankful for all the helping hands that made it happen! Truly one of the most unique and special experiences we’ve enjoyed in our business and clearly a convention highlight for all the attendees of the 2021 Gull Wing Group Convention!
