Reynolds Family | Colorado Springs Winter Family Portraits

With fresh snow gracing our city, we’re excited to feature a great winter family session! We have been the family photographer for the Reynolds since 2010 and are so honored to record the seasons in the life of their family. We love seeing them every 2-3 years and create new family legacy pieces. Portrait photography’s ability to tell a family’s story without words is so powerful and gives us a very meaningful job to love doing for each family who entrusts us with their story.

This most recent portrait session gave so many layers of meaning: They were created on their own property, celebrating the culmination of a long-held dream to live on acreage and feature their own backyard in their imagery. Snowboarding is a significant family activity and a centerpiece of lots of family memories; including these storytelling images during the session brings all these memories of adventures together into their portrait art. Beyond that, kids change so quickly, so every new family portrait captures their son at all the key milestones of his life.

There really is something magical about the snow, and for this winter-loving family, the perfect setting for this newest set of family portraits celebrating this season in the life of their family.

Kyndall | Liberty High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2022

Kyndall enjoys music and sings in choirs with Liberty High School and also plays piano. She’s inducted into the National Honor Society. She adores her dogs and loves being outdoors.

For her senior portraits, she was excited for a natural setting and wanted to feature flowers and trees. She matched well for the Cheyenne Cañon area as the setting, and we’re excited to share favorites from her late August session.

As Kyndall finishes her final semester of high school, she’s excited to begin college studies in the fall with a career path in the sciences. She currently would love to work in medical research or psychology.

Congratulations, Kyndall, and may these senior portraits always bring to mind your favorite memories and moments from high school!

Your very impressive work was highly deserving of these prestigious awards! We are very happy for you! I realized after our meeting last week that I failed to ask you about the convention. Would love to have heard all this wonderful news in person, but glad I at least discovered it here on your site! Congratulations! Patsy Ruth and Bruce

Restoration Expertise | Bringing Family Legacy to Life

Restoration work is quite rewarding. We love seeing older photographs and deeply appreciate the history and legacy preserved. The process of restoration involves a number of steps and a lot of care. Every step incredibly worthwhile to bring new life to older legacy.

This recent project (before-and-after for the print pictured below) for one of our current client families took their favorite wedding portrait, faded and discolored from time and sun exposure, and brought it back to the original vibrancy. This project was a meaningful part of the celebration of their 25th Anniversary.

John | Pine Creek High School | Class of 2022

2021 goes on record as our busiest and best year ever of creating portrait art for families, and this family warms our heart every time we see them! Because we served so many families, our blogging paused until now. It’s time to catch up and begin featuring many of our 2021 seniors and families.

John kicks off our features for the Class of 2022. He is an incredibly athletic senior, competing on Pine Creek’s soccer team, basketball team, and track team. He also enjoys outdoor activities and singing in his free time.

For his senior portraits, John was excited to feature some of the iconic red rock formations and colors of our Colorado Springs scenery. He’ll be serving a two-year mission with his church after graduation, so familiar scenes of home will always bring back many memories from his high school years no matter where his next steps take him in life.

We’ve been this family’s portrait artist and legacy-maker since 2010 and count their loyalty as both our highest compliment and source of joy and gratitude.

Congratulations, John!
