We just returned from our annual, national convention organized and run by Professional Photographers of America (PPA), held in the Washington D.C. area January 13th-18th, 2022. Imaging USA combines valuable education with a wonderful expo, heart-filling connection among photographers across the country (and world), and annual recognitions for both the artists competing in the annual International Print Competition (IPC) and national awards for education and service.
Jonathan receives honors each year in IPC, yet was honored at his highest levels yet this year. His entries below earned him the Platinum Medal – all images earning merits and three accepted into the Imaging Excellence Collection – and brought him a prestigious Grand Imaging Award. His entries below, titled as follows:
- “Could You Share Your Umbrella?” [created in China] – Grand Imaging Award and accepted into the Imaging Excellence Collection
- “Digging for Hope” [B&W portrait] – Accepted into the Imaging Excellence Collection
- “Living on the Edge” [from Hua Shan in Xian, China] – Accepted into the Imaging Excellence Collection
- “Pathway of Prayers” [from Hua Shan in Xian, China] – Merited Image
Additionally, Lindsay was incredibly honored to be the 2022 recipient of the National Business Education Award in recognition of her years of speaking at national conferences and service to PPA leadership roles and on the National Education Committee.
