Grace | Palmer Ridge High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2020

Grace loves the Colorado beauty of both waterscapes and mountainscapes. She loves hiking and spending time with her pug mix, Cookie. She’s enjoyed being in the junior zookeeper program with the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and the opportunities to work with a wide variety of animals. She’s considering a career as a veterinarian, so these experiences with the zoo have been invaluable.

At Palmer Ridge High School, Grace has enjoyed being part of the yearbook staff and running on the cross country and track teams. She excels as a sprinter and a jumper.

Congratulations, Grace, on your accomplishments, and we wish you well with all your next steps after graduation! May your senior portraits always bring back favorite memories from this time in your life.

Audrey | Palmer Ridge High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2020

Audrey is both athletic and musical. She competed on both the cross country and track teams with distance running her strength. She plays percussion with the symphonic band and specializes on the marimba. She also adores her dog.

As Audrey completes her high school years, she dreams of owning her own restaurant one day. She loves to cook and experiment in the kitchen, and while culinary school is in her future, this wise senior plans to gain business management education as her next step toward her dream.

Enjoy favorites from her senior session photographed last August. Congratulations, Audrey, on this big milestone!

Gabe | Palmer High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2020

Gabe is a friendly guy who loves animals, does exceptionally well academically, and a self-described history buff. His favorite eras of history include World War II and the Wild West outlaws. Gabe adores his dog, Marley. When enjoying time outdoors, you’ll likely find him fishing. During high school, he played on Palmer High School’s football team in positions of both safety and outside linebacker.

His session was photographed right at the end of summer and as the senior school year was just getting underway. With his love for fishing and being near water, Cheyenne Cañon was a natural fit for his outdoor portrait setting.

While senior year looks different this year, we are so thankful for all the families who chose us and who have finished art to celebrate their senior’s accomplishments to enjoy now and for years to come. In the midst of some experiences that may feel lost, these senior portraits speak pride and joy over their accomplishment. We’re excited to share some of our favorites from Gabe’s session here and bring some joy into this season for his family and those with whom they share his feature post.

As Gabe wraps up high school, he’s looking ahead to a career in forensics as either a crime analyst or homicide detective. We wish you our best, Gabe, over all your next steps, and may you find plenty of ways to celebrate your graduation!

Faith & Hope (and what we can do) in the waiting…

In these unprecedented times and very unexpected disruptions to business, family plans, and all sorts of daily life activities, we have a choice. We can choose where to place our hope and the attitudes we bring to each day. We can embrace the interruptions and disruptions as fresh invitations to spend time differently and invest in the people closest to us. We can lean in to completing the things that don’t normally have time to get done. We will get through this! And we want you to know that we are still here and still able to serve you in the waiting.

We can:

  • Host virtual appointments for consultations for family sessions, engagements, and the Class of 2021 Seniors. While actual sessions aren’t happening right now, the planning for sessions can still happen. Contact us today to schedule your virtual consultation and be top of the list to get on the schedule as soon as the restrictions clear.
  • Process additional orders from already-completed sessions.
  • Get excited to offer special opportunities for Cap & Gown Sessions and Prom Portrait Parties at the Studio – information will come as soon as we know dates can be set. Let us know if you’d like to make sure you hear from us when the details are set. In the midst of experiences that will look different or feel lost in cancellations, we have ideas for reclaiming some of these experiences and celebratory moments.
  • We offer portrait restoration and archiving services. Do you have legacy pictures that you’ve always meant to preserve by creating digital negatives through scans? Do you have historical pictures from decades past that need restoration? We offer these services, and normally can only take on these jobs in the first quarter of the year when our photography sessions are fewer. In the midst of the disruption, we have time to take on more of these jobs. Make today the day you take action on intentions, and we can be your partner to make it happen.

Reach out via phone at 719-291-9798 or email lindsay@jonathanbetz.com should we be able to assist you with our services.

We are praying over our world and for healing. We are trusting that God is moving mightily in our midst. We find gratitude in so many simple things. We find enjoyment in the extra family time, and extra time for special projects. And we cannot wait to return to the full scope of how we serve families to create legacy and finished art that celebrate FAMILY.
