Emily | Doherty High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2020

We’ve loved reconnecting with Emily’s family after first meeting them when Emily’s older brother was a high school senior! As always, it is our highest compliment to have families return to us and continue to entrust their priceless life moments to us.

Emily excels in the arts: she’s a talented violinist, an experienced member of the tech teams for theater – working both lights and sound, and she loves being an active member of the speech & debate club.

Outside of school, this talkative and funny senior loves fan fiction, “Deadpool,” and the colors blue and purple. She has a loyal group of close friends and enjoys both time to herself and time with these close friends.

Emily was excited for senior portraits in an earthy, natural setting with views of the mountains. With our expertise in the natural settings, we helped match her to a great location and are excited to share favorites from her photography session with you!

We wish you the best, Emily, as you finish the last semester of senior year!

Lexi | Palmer Ridge High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2020

Lexi is a quirky and easygoing high school senior who loves reading, writing, and listening to music. She also loves her Jeep trip into the mountains, and her family has a special place in their heart for Estes Park. She dreams of becoming an author.

She matched well with our one-hour session and chose Red Rock Canyon for her outdoor location for the photography. It was a great location to provide the green tones and treed areas she hoped to have for her setting.

Lexi, we wish you our best as you finish high school and take your next steps!

Kinzie at 4! | Colorado Springs Children’s & Family Portraits

We always look forward to seeing Kinzie’s family each year. We first met them when Kinzie was born, and it’s truly been such a joy and honor to be their family’s legacy makers and creators of photographic art.

Kinzie is full of personality and has a blast during her sessions. Building a great relationship with a photographer has huge benefits in being familiar to the kids – Jon can start to feel like an uncle to the kids of the families we see on an annual or semi-annual basis.

For this session, we chose Monument Valley Park for their location. Jon always creates a wonderful array of individual portraits of Kinzie, yet we love that her parents understand the importance of also creating family portraits during these sessions. These create a rich legacy for Kinzie to enjoy now and in all the years to come. One of our favorite times with their family include the View & Choose ordering appointments and hearing all of Kinzie’s comments as she sees the newly-created portraits. These speak of her value and her place in this world, evidenced in her excited comments and huge smiles.

Enjoy favorites from this family’s most recent photography experience with us!

We love the Betz family. It was rainy this day and Kinzie was starting to get hangry but as soon as Jon started taking pictures and talking to her she got really excited and sassy.

Tyler | Air Academy High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2020

Tyler excels in all things mechanical and has a mind for engineering. He is in the automotive mechanics program at Liberty High School in addition to all his studies at Air Academy where he is part of the engineering program. He also does metal working. Tyler excels academically and has earned his academic letter. It’s quite fitting that his future plans include a career in mechanical engineering.

We love storytelling in the portrait art we create from each session, and Jon loved creating portraits with some of Tyler’s tools and featuring his car as part of his Senior Session. Tyler’s setting was in the Cheyenne Cañon area where he enjoys spending time on the trails.

We know Tyler will finish this last semester strong, and we wish him our best with the next chapters that unfold after graduation.

The Labovich Family | Winter Family Portraits

We absolutely love what we do! Every session gives us that new opportunity to create legacy in photographic art for families. This session was such a treat because we’ve been photographing senior portraits for this family since 2014 but finally had the honor of photographing family portraits. There is something so priceless about family portraits…it captures a moment in time and a wealth of memories from that unique season in life.

In the midst of scheduling challenges catching all these young adult children home together, we’re so thankful this session happened. While the weather wasn’t perfect on this blustery, wintery day, the Labovich Family embraced the day with fun and great spirits and had a fun time creating lasting art for their home. Garden of the Gods was the perfect setting for iconic views of Colorado Springs beauty, and the snow frosted the scenes beautifully.

Enjoy favorites from this winter session that captures the fun and closeness shared within this family. We are honored by their loyalty and continued trust in us as legacy maker for their family.
