The Coleman Family | Mini-Session Family Photography

What a treat to see the Coleman Family again after eight years! That’s right…we last saw them for family portraits in 2011. It’s always a high compliment when families return to us and continue to entrust us with their professional photography.

Part of the service we provide every family is our guidance in choosing the best session structure for their photography session. There are times when our one-hour session is perfect and other times when our mini-session is best. The Colemans were well-served with our mini-session, and on their session day, that took them to Mesa Overlook.

Our short session creates around twelve awesome portraits to choose from when ordering, and we’re so excited for the wall art that will soon be featured in the Coleman’s home. We know they will enjoy these portraits for years to come…and perhaps we’ll see them a little sooner next time 😉

Grant | Rampart High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2020

We’ve loved reconnecting with this family after first meeting them for senior portraits for Grant’s older brother.

Grant has a great sense of humor and strengths both in character–specifically kindness–and athleticism. For Rampart High School, he competes on the football and track teams. His events for track include shot put and discus, and he competed in state-level competition last year. Additionally, he’s the treasurer for the Student Council.

For his senior portraits, he was a great match for our one-hour session and loved Garden of the Gods as his setting. He enjoyed featuring his sports during the session, and the sunset was absolutely stunning for the silhouettes at the end of the session.

As Grant completes high school, he’s very excited to be heading to The University of Southern California in the Fall!

Alexa | Discovery Canyon Campus High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2019

Alexa counts herself among DCC High School’s most recent graduates and is already beginning her next steps toward a career in forensics.

During high school, she sang in the choirs, was secretary of the writing club, was active in the leadership of High Trails and as a peer mentor at school. She loves art and drawing and was a member of the Art National Honor Society. She excelled in her favorite courses of psychology and sciences.

Alexa loves our Colorado natural landscapes and was excited to create a silhouette as part of her senior portraits. She matched well with our one-hour Senior Session for her photography structure, and we loved Garden of the Gods as her setting. We are excited to share favorites!

Alexa chose a wonderful palette of solid colors for her session attire and played to the rich, autumn and jewel tones – some of our very favorite colors for our clients to wear for photography sessions. These color tones beautifully compliment the colors in the natural landscape and also bring a beautiful focus to the face of the portrait subject.

Congratulations, Alexa, on your graduation! We look forward to the next time we see your family and hear updates on your next chapters in life!

Maggie | Rampart High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2020

Maggie is friendly, athletic, and great with kids. She plays lacrosse for Rampart High School’s team, and when not on the field, enjoys hanging out with friends.

She was a great fit for our one-hour Senior Session, and we helped match her to a great location that leaves the beaten path and provides great forested landscapes and mountain views. We’re excited to share favorites from her high school senior photography session!

As Maggie looks ahead to the completion of high school, she’s interested in pursuing a career in digital marketing. Enjoy the rest of senior year, Maggie!

Emily | Castle View High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2019

Emily’s family was wonderful to have back with us for photography!

Emily enjoys hanging out with friends and time with her family at home. She has an artistic side and enjoys drawing. For her high school senior portraits, she loved an urban setting. Her portrait day held some rain, but with her flexibility and positivity, the rain actually added to the portraits with reflections and bringing out vivid colors. We’re excited to share favorites from her photography session last fall!

Emily’s next chapters in life are already unfolding, and she plans to pursue studies in psychology. Our best to you, Emily!
