Matthew | Lewis Palmer High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2019

Matthew counts himself among Lewis Palmer High School’s most recent graduates! During his high school years, he enjoyed playing on the basketball team. He’s a fun guy to be around and has a great sense of humor. He enjoys hanging out with friends and adventuring – hiking and climbing and taking the Jeep out are favorite activities.

Matthew chose our one-hour senior session and loved the location of Cheyenne Cañon & Gold Camp Road as the setting for his senior photography.

As Matthew looks ahead to his future, computer science is a strong possibility for potential career paths.

Enjoy our favorites from his senior session – Congratulations, Matthew!

The Johnson Family | Family Photography at Garden of the Gods

What a treat to be the photographer to capture the very first outdoor family portraits for this family! All of their past experiences were indoor studio sessions at high volume places, so we were thrilled to provide a fully custom, guided, and relationship-focused photography experience.

The Johnsons have lived in Colorado Springs in the past and returned here in 2009. They loved the setting of Garden of the Gods for their photography so that our iconic red rock formations were in the background of their portraits.

All of our family sessions create a variety of poses from the full family to the kids together and individually, and then updated portraits of mom and dad together.

Enjoy some of our favorites from their family session!

Noah | High School Senior Photography | Class of 2019

Noah is an ambitious recent graduate with a passion for documentary film making. He had an amazing opportunity last summer when he was chosen for an exclusive 6-week course during which he and his team created a documentary film about teen suicide. He was able to share some of his own struggles and ultimately, share that his faith and relationship with Jesus brought him grounding in that sense of value and worth. He’s been invited back for a second year to work and learn with this group!

Outside of those passions and interests, Noah composes music and plays piano; is a published author and avid reader; loves LEGOs; and is a black belt in taekwondo.

Along with his siblings – he’s a triplet! – we photographed his senior portraits both in Colorado Springs and in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. This family has a sense of heart and home in both places, and it was truly special to travel with them to Wisconsin. In fact, our daughter now wants to live there one day!

Noah’s Colorado Springs settings for his photography included Glen Eyrie Castle, Downtown Colorado Springs, and Garden of the Gods; his Sheboygan, Wisconsin settings included the family farm, boardwalk and beach, and Kohler-Andrae State Park.

His future plans have many potential directions with all of his passions and giftings – he’d enjoy expanding his published writings, designing for LEGO, and/or script-writing for documentary films. We know God will help direct all his next steps.

Congratulations, Noah!

Katie | High School Senior Photography | Class of 2019

Katie is a joyful and talented high school senior who loves to write and excels in music talents for both piano and singing. She’s one of the triplet siblings of a family who has become dear to us, and she and her siblings have had wonderful opportunities to make music together over the years. She’s also learned tap dancing – clearly she has a wide scope of performing talents!

Katie loves city vibes, has an appreciation for vintage items (she loves writing on her vintage typewriter), and yet also adores the beaches of Wisconsin and the rustic country setting of her family’s farm in that state.

We were blessed to photograph Katie and her siblings both here in Colorado and in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Katie’s settings in Colorado Springs included Glen Eyrie Castle and Downtown Colorado Springs; her settings in Wisconsin included the Sheboygan boardwalk, her family farm, and Kohler-Andrae State Park.

As Katie looks ahead to some next steps, she has a strong passion to fight for justice. She’s specifically interested in pursuing studies in psychology that would equip her to help bring healing to those saved out of human trafficking. She’d also love to be involved in leading worship.

Enjoy favorites from such a special project with a great set of high school senior siblings. Congratulations, Katie!

Claire | High School Senior Photography | Class of 2019

Claire is a hard-working student with a love for the 1950s and 1960s. Faith is a huge aspect to her life, and she’s enjoyed summers at Camp Elim and would love a potential career in camp ministry. She’s also an accomplished violinist.

Claire is part of a set of triplets! For senior portraits, we enjoyed photographing her and her siblings individually and also great portraits of the triplets together. Her family loves living in Colorado, yet has strong, deep ties to Sheboygan, Wisconsin. We were blessed to travel to Wisconsin with this family so their senior portraits captured both places dear to their hearts. You’ll see in our favorites below portraits captured both in Colorado and Wisconsin.

Claire’s locations for her senior portraits included Glen Eyrie Castle, Manitou Springs, her family farm in Wisconsin, the Sheboygan Boardwalk, and Kohler-Andrae State Park.

Congratulations, Claire!
