Congratulations, Clairelise, on your graduation from Air Academy High School! Clairelise is a joyful, creative, funny, and spontaneous graduate who’s also a hard worker. During her time at AAHS, she was active in band with both flute and later as a drum major. She also plays the Celtic harp. Her family is tight-knit and quite fun to be around! We’ve really enjoyed our time with them photographing Clairelise as well as her sister and great portraits of them with their mom. We’ll be looking forward to seeing them again when her sister reaches that senior year milestone! Her portraits were taken at Red Rock Canyon, Cheyenne Canyon, and The Broadmoor. Lauren is a happy and energetic recent graduate of Doherty High School! During her high school years, she served on Student Council and played on the tennis team. She loves the feel of Colorado College, so we used areas on campus for her high school senior pictures. Enjoy our favorites!

Happy Graduation, Blake! We had fun photographing this high school senior who wanted to feature rugged and iconic landscapes in combination with urban backgrounds in Colorado Springs during his session. We used Cheyenne Canyon, Manitou Springs, and Garden of the Gods for his portraits. During high school, he played basketball, and his enjoyment with video games was evident at the Penny Arcade in Manitou during the session!

We are at a loss for words…The Black Forest Fire has grown significantly and has now become the most destructive fire in Colorado’s history. Our hearts hurt for so very many friends and families who have lost homes. We continue to pray throughout the days for the safety of the first responders and thank them for their dedication and commitment to ending the fire. We continue to pray for the community of Black Forest and beyond…that God would provide comfort, make His presence and provision known, that He would create beauty that we cannot yet conceive from the ashes. Our community WILL persevere through this…we did it last year, and we will do it again. For our precious clients…please do not hesitate to contact us with needs and know that we will be here for you as the healing and restoration begins. Thank you to whomever created this wonderful image of hope and victory…Community does not burn down. May we hold tight to each other and to our faith in the days, weeks, and months ahead.
