Elijah attends Falcon High School and would love to enter the Air Force Academy next fall. He enjoyed having his high school senior pictures taken in Old Colorado City and Garden of the Gods. Marc and Alex are a fun couple who are expert planners and very thoughtful about every part of enjoying their engagement and planning for their wedding in 2014. We’ve really enjoyed photographing their engagement pictures at Garden of the Gods and getting to know them! Both Marc and Alex are teachers, so as you can imagine, they have a heart for building up the next generation. July 1 was a beautiful day for Keenan & Julie’s wedding in Estes Park! This was our first time to photograph at Della Terra, and they really do a fantastic job and have built a fantastic venue for destination weddings. We enjoyed spending time on their day capturing a private first moment together and then going around to some fantastic spots in Estes for location portraits of the two of them prior to the ceremony (even had time for fruit shakes!). Their outdoor ceremony was followed by cocktail hour on the deck and then a great reception filled with meaningful toasts and great dancing. The setting of Estes Park could not be more perfect for Keenan & Julie since they met and became friends as campers at Cheley Colorado Camps in Estes. They were supported on their wedding day by lots of family, friends, and Cheley alums. Enjoy LOTS of favorites from their day!

Jon and Kelsey’s dad are in a great men’s group together, so naturally, when Kelsey needed senior pictures, her dad thought of us! It’s been fun for us to get to know their family even more through photographing senior pictures, and always count it as such a compliment when our friends become a part of our client family! Kelsey requested a pond for her pictures and loved the idea of The Broadmoor. We also scheduled Bambi for an appearance (you’ll know what we mean when you take a look at one of her portraits…) and had a great time exploring the beauty on the grounds of The Broadmoor. Kelsey has such a genuine personality and warmth about her. We wanted to change things up a little bit on a blog post and feature some great black & white portraits, so we’re excited to share some of her senior pictures in black & white. Kelsey, have a fantastic final year of high school!
