Kimber is an active high school senior at Doherty High School – she’s involved in softball both for her school and on club leagues and plays third base. She’s planning to begin college in the fall and has a carefree, quirky, and fun personality. He attends Sand Creek High School and wanted to feature both an indoor/architectural feel in addition to mountains and our big Colorado skies. We just returned from a wonderful time with Jon’s side of our family back in St. Louis and had such a great time visiting, playing, and just enjoying being together. We hope you were able to do the same and celebrate the blessing of your family and friends over the holiday week. And we thought we’d share a few of our most recent family portraits we did earlier this month (done by Jon using tripod and timer). It’s amazing how much our kids have grown and changed…it’s too true that “The days are long but the years are short.” Natalie is now 4 1/2 and Tyler just celebrated birthday #3. And get a kick out of Jon’s little “mini-me” in Tyler…not only in looks but he LOVES his little camera!

Since this maternity session with The Conrads, they have welcomed a new son into the world, and after we’ve completed all their baby sessions, we’ll be sure to update you with great baby portraits! For now, it’s definitely time to get this post up from the maternity photography! They wanted to use clean, modern, and then urban settings for their portraits that also involved the big-sister-to-be, Jovie. We’ve known the Conrads since the very beginning of our time in Colorado Springs, and love that we get to see them on a semi-regular schedule for photography sessions!
