Brock | Rampart High School Class of 2011 Senior Portraits

Meet Brock, future NHL goalie…no, seriously, he truly has a shot at this! While ice hockey pictures were not a big focus for his senior pictures (as you can imagine, they’ve had LOTS of hockey pictures of Brock over the years!), Jon did love the opportunity to add ice hockey images to his portfolio. Most of Brock’s session was spent downtown and in Cheyenne Canyon. Enjoy these favorites!

Jon,
The “One Way” shot is a minimalist’s seven-course banquet!
I’m just a snapshot hobby photographer, but I recognize genius and am fortunate when I can acknowledge it.
Great photo!

Megan | Liberty High School Class of 2011 Senior Portraits

Megan’s session was really unique! Jon met her in Black Forest for motorcross images! Her whole family is really into it, so it was fun for Jon to photograph here and meaningful in telling her story. Jon got to meet a couple of nationally-ranked bikers who are featured in some of her images. From there, the session went by the great stone bridge outside of Garden of the Gods and ended in downtown Colorado Springs. Here are some favorites…

James | TCA Class of 2011 High School Senior Portraits

James is a soccer player, and we just LOVE the one of him in the air! We started his session downtown by Old Chicago…this place holds many memories for his family, so that was fun to start there. He also did some great portraits with his younger brother, and I hope Natalie and Tyler become great friends like these brothers! We ended his session at Garden of the Gods. One of the really fun things about working with James’ family is that I already knew his mom from the Bible study I did last semester at church. It’s been fun to reconnect with her and get to meet the rest of her family!

Enjoy our favorites!

This is amazing!

Dakota | Doherty High School Class of 2011

Dakota was so fun to photograph! She gets props for her attention to her hair and nails…some of the coolest we’ve seen all summer! Dakota loves the outdoors and her truck and water, and Jon had a great time throughout Cheyenne Canyon, Helen Hunt Falls, Gold Camp Road, and Bear Creek Park finding great spots for her portraits. It’s been so fun to provide photography for her family since her parent’s company, L & M Home Maintenance & Remodeling, put in our hardwood floors a little over a year ago. We LOVE our hardwood floors every single day. And hopefully, Dakota’s older sister has a wedding in her not-so-distant future and we’ll get to provide wedding photography for this fun and lively family! Enjoy her movie and some of our favorites…

Ashley & Hunter | Wedding Photography

Ashley & Hunter planned a great wedding day that was intimate, fun, and romantic. I think they loved how everything came together in the end. We love that they really made the most of their photography experience on their day, giving us opportunities to get creative on the grounds of the Air Force Academy, Garden of the Gods, and downtown Colorado Springs. We ended their time with us by treating them to cake at Montague’s just south of downtown. It’s a cute and cozy coffee shop and dessert cafe and a great end to the day. I personally don’t think you can have a wedding day without cake!! We have so many favorites from their wedding day!
