Erin & Zach | Wedding Photography “Sneak Peek”

Erin and Zach just got married this past Saturday, and their day was filled with amazing personal touches and love. We were impressed the entire day! They are both musicians, and they processed to their string quartet playing an original composition by Zach. And it was simply beautiful music! They had one Bible verse read at their Shove Chapel ceremony, but in their 3 languages of English, French, and Swahili. They met in France; Zach grew up in Kenya and Erin grew up here in Colorado Springs. Hearing all the languages was very neat too. And at their reception, they baked themselves all of the tarts and many of the other tapas and desserts…truly fantastic! Here are a handful of favorites for you to enjoy!

Apple | One of Our Favorite Things!

Apple…we truly love this company! It’s now been over two years since we began our switch from the PC world to Apple, and, though it may be cheesy, we agree that “once you go Mac, you never go back!” Is it strange to love a company?? Not when it’s philosophy and entire structure is as fantastic as Apple’s. I think one of the things that makes us love Apple so much is that it’s a company that always strives to put the customer first and realizes that serving others is great business. In light of all the media blitz bashing the newest iPhone, Steve Jobs held a press conference. In it, he gave a fantastic argument for the strength of the iPhone 4 and basically debunked all the bad press with actual data and research. And yet, despite all the data and research that indicates there is nothing amiss with the newest iPhone, Steve Jobs went on to say that regardless, they were going to take care of their customers. Apple didn’t have to take on an aggressive position in favor of their customers, but they did because they believe in serving and they believe that it’s right. They have a total guarantee; they believe in their products and they love their customers. This is something we identify with because it’s how we run our photography business. You may know it already, but we absolutely have a 100% guarantee for our prints and products. If you’re not satisfied completely, we hope you’ll speak up. We are here to serve you because we love our clients and are honored to be chosen to be a part of special and priceless moments in their lives. We want all of our clients to love their images and love what they order. We stand behind everything we do, but more than that, we stand behind our clients. So know that if you’re already a part of our client family, we truly appreciate and value you and thank you. We hope that we’ve earned you as clients for life. And if you’re not yet part of the family…what are you waiting for?!?! We hope to serve you soon!

A great commercial from apple’s earlier days…

Ella at 12 months | Baby Photography

Ella recently completed her last session in our “My First Year” photography package. She has grown up so much since we first met her at 3 months old! When she arrived with her parents to see her 12 month pictures, she was just talking away. It was so fun to hear her! It reminded me of Natalie when she was just talking away in her own little language, but so emphatically that you just knew she knew exactly what she was saying! Ella’s parents have taken regular pictures of her sitting in this chair in her home, and our last set of these from her session are some of our favorites…

These are some of our favorites too! 🙂 It has been a lot of fun to see Ella change through these photo sessions. Thank you Jon and Lindsay for doing such an awesome job with Ella’s pictures and being so wonderful to work with!

Hunter and Ashley | Wedding Portraits Sneak Peek

Hunter and Ashley…CONGRATULATIONS! We had so much fun with you on Saturday!!

This was one of our most unique wedding days as Hunter and Ashley opted for a small, intimate ceremony at the Air Force Academy Chapel (congrats to recent grad, Hunter!) and then the whole afternoon and evening for traveling around Colorado Springs for amazing portraits. It was so fun to have such an open, relaxed agenda for the day and just let it unfold following the ceremony. We did portraits around the Air Force Academy and then went to Garden of the Gods and ended downtown. We’ll have more to post in coming weeks, but for now, here are 5 “teasers” from their day!

P.S. If you missed their engagement portraits, you can check out that post here.
