Julianna | Destination: Colorado Springs | High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2019

Each season, we work with a fun handful of out of state families who travel to Colorado Springs for their photography. Julianna came to us from Louisiana, both because she loves the mountains of Colorado and also because her cousins (whom we have photographed) insisted she choose us for photography! We appreciate their strong recommendation and know referrals are our highest compliment.

Julianna loves music and is both a singer and pianist. She loves the outdoors, from waterfalls to mountain scenes – plus, being from Louisiana and traveling to Colorado in March, she hoped for a little snow too. She was excited to feature a lot of outfits during her senior portraits photography session, and we love all the different colors, textures, and layers she brought. With all the outfits to feature, she benefited from our longer two-hour session, The Senior Experience. We helped match her to two of our favorite locations: Cheyenne Cañon & Garden of the Gods. And we even found her some snow!

Enjoy our favorites from this fun destination session to our part of the world! And congratulations, Julianna, on your upcoming graduation. We’ve loved being a special part of the celebration of your accomplishments.

Sara | Colorado State University | College Graduation Portraits | Class of 2019

What a treat when the phone rang a few weeks ago, and Sara – one of our high school seniors from four years ago – was calling to find out if we could photograph her college senior portraits! She’s just about to graduate from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mind, Brain, & Behavior Psychology, and her next steps include working toward her Master’s Degree.

We scheduled her for a spot when she was recently back during her Spring Break. She chose our multi-location Senior Experience photography session and chose the locations of Colorado College and Red Rock Canyon. She brought a great variety of outfits and some fun, celebratory props to feature throughout her portraits.

Our highest compliments are our returning families who come back and continue to invite us in to capture their milestones and loved ones. It has been so wonderful to reconnect with this family, and we know Sara has a bright future, guided by faith and with strength of character, care, and compassion.

Max | Vista Ridge High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2019

We have loved photographing Max and getting to know his family!

Max is incredibly athletic and excels in distance running on the cross country team for Vista Ridge High School. In the Spring, he runs the longer one mile and 800 races on the track team. Jon created dynamic portraits to capture Max’s running accomplishments – you’ll see one that will make you smile, and for this family, it’s a top favorite as it’s how he’s crossed many finish lines!

When not running, you can find Max with the Air Force ROTC and volunteering in the community. He also enjoying hanging out with his friends and loves his dog. He loves animals and has been active as a junior zookeeper with the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and his family describes him as an “animal whisperer.” He plans to pursue a career with animals.

Enjoy favorites from his Senior Experience session that used the locations of Red Rock Canyon and the Colorado College track. You’ll see Max’s humor, style, and fun personality shining throughout his senior portraits.

Congratulations, Max, and we wish you our best with your next steps!

Sheyenne | Manitou Springs High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2019

Sheyenne will soon celebrate the milestone of graduating high school. She loves spending time with her cat and being in the outdoors. Her favorite seasons are fall and winter. She was excited to use Garden of the Gods for her photography session, knowing that location features the mountains well. This location is also best for creating the awesome silhouettes Jon photographs for the seniors who choose Garden of the Gods as the setting for their photography.

We were excited to reconnect with this family after meeting them last year for Sheyenne’s older brother’s senior portraits!

Maya | Manitou Springs High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2019

Maya is a high school senior who loves spending time with her friends and spending time outdoors. Favorite activities include hiking and traveling. Her favorite destinations to travel have included The Grand Canyon, Taos, and South Dakota. She is looking at potential careers that lean into her love for the outdoors and is strongly considering becoming a wildlife rehabilitation specialist.

With her love for the outdoors, a natural setting was the best fit for her senior photography. We matched her to Red Rock Canyon as a great location for her high school senior portraits, and the one hour Senior Session was a great fit for her session structure.

We’re excited to share favorites from her session. Maya – congratulations on your upcoming graduation! We have loved photographing your senior portraits and know you’ll enjoy the memories they bring to mind for years to come.
