Elijah is a high school senior who loves living an active, healthy lifestyle. He’s looking to major in engineering when he begins college in the Fall. He wanted a natural setting with rocks and trees for his senior pictures, and the fall colors were wonderful when he had his session a few months back. Camille is fun-loving and described as a “party-in-a-box,” up for fun and laughter. She’s talented in both theater and music, playing the piano. In the past she’s competed in tennis and swimming, and had fun this year managing the football team with a friend. She’s excited for the adventure of college to begin in the Fall. For her session, we used the locations of Manitou Springs, Rock Ledge Ranch, and Garden of the Gods. We enjoyed photographing Camille’s senior portraits and having her family back with us for professional photography…we did a session with her earlier in high school, family portraits, and senior portraits for her older sister. It’s such a compliment to have families return to us and for us to be their family’s photographer through many milestones!

Dean’s family welcomed him into the world this fall, and we’re excited to share from his session a few months back. He has a proud Big Brother to teach him all about the world! Of all the great stages for professional photography during that first year of life, newborn portraits are one of our top favorites. You just can’t get enough of that smallest start of life, the preciousness of sleeping baby pictures, and some of their first looks at their world.

Kenneth may well be our tallest high school senior to date! He’s a friendly, easygoing senior who competes on the football, wrestling, and track teams for Calhan High School. He’s also loves sleep – who doesn’t!! He’ll have to get used to early mornings soon…he’s planning to join the Army after graduating, and we’re pretty sure basic training days start EARLY.
With the smaller high schools that have due dates during the spring semester, we have the luxury of photographing outside of the crazy, busy months of July through November, and this session is proof that we photograph outdoors year round. Kenneth was looking for some dynamic senior pictures in a natural setting, and he was up for a more adventurous session. We decided to use Pulpit Rock – it’s a location that needs adventurous people and those able to do outfit changes out and about – and Kenneth was up for the challenge and adventure! The extra effort is well worth it – dynamic views, amazing rock formations, and some unique perspectives of our city. Enjoy favorites from his senior photography session!

Reba is an outgoing and social senior at Fountain-Ft Carson High School. She’s a cheerleader and cheers on the football and basketball teams. She also runs track and excels in hurdles. She chose Cheyenne Canon for her photography. Reba’s plans for the future include joining the army and earning her master’s degree in nursing. Our best to you, Reba, as you complete this final semester of high school!
