Jeremiah + Danielle | Wedding Photography | The Broadmoor & Gateway Church

Jeremiah & Danielle enjoyed a beautiful December wedding day just a handful of weeks ago!  We have a lot of fun with December weddings since our own wedding was in December and love the beauty of snow, the crispness in the air, and the festive spirit of Christmas right around the corner.  This wedding day was also especially meaningful since we’ve gotten to know Danielle’s family throughout the past handful of years, photographing senior portraits, family portraits, and professional portraits for their church staff at Gateway Church.  They’ve just become really special people to us, so to be invited to photograph Danielle’s wedding has truly been an honor.  We’re excited to share some of the special moments and memories of their day…beginning at The Broadmoor where they prepared for their day and had first look moments between father & bride and then bride & groom and lots of great portraits in that beautiful place, to enjoying the sunset as we all traveled to Gateway Church for the ceremony and reception.  It was a day full of tender moments as two families connected and a new family began, all centered around an amazing Creator and loving Savior.

Ellen | Cheyenne Mountain High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2014

Ellen is a thoughtful, spunky senior at Cheyenne Mountain High School who loves theater.  She came to us initially for just a yearbook session and then upgraded to our one-hour senior session and chose Garden of the Gods for her location.  She had a great time featuring her favorite formal dress to start that portion of her photography session, and Jon created some beautiful images for her family!

Ellen, we wish you the best for your last semester of high school!

The Forsythe Family | Family Photography at The Broadmoor

We’re currently at our yearly national photography convention.  It’s always such an amazing time of refueling, reenergizing, and being encouraged.  We LOVE what we do, and we invest time each year to keep us fresh, grow our skills, and make us the best we can be for YOU.  We’ve been reminded that what we are blessed to do really matters.  We get invited into your lives to create a piece of your family’s history…to create part of the legacy of your family.  We are blessed to do something that lasts.

We’re so excited to begin 2014 and await all the families that will choose us for their priceless memories and moments.  As we return and dive into a new year, enjoy some recent images of the Forsythe Family who came to us in December.  We have had such a great time with this family, and love that we’ve given them the gift of portraits they love and priceless art they are hanging in their home.  Enjoy some of our favorites from their session…you’ll see timeless images intermingled with downright fun and laughter.

Chris & Hannah | Winter Portraits at Garden of the Gods

Chris & Hannah scheduled their session during a week that went from sunny and 60 degree days to a frosted wonderland on their session day.  We LOVED it!  I think they were a little skeptical at first about how “great” the day was, but we quickly changed that with the amazing and unique images they have from a day that doesn’t happen very often.  It’s hard to plan for a snowy or frosted day, so while it sometimes just happens on a scheduled day, if you’re looking to have this look for your family, feel free to call us on a day with the look you want, and we will do our best to get you in!

Tory | Manitou Springs High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2014

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!  In addition to enjoying the holiday, I’m working on some great blog posts!  To celebrate Day 1 of 2014, I thought it fitting to blog on some high school senior sessions since it’s now officially their graduation year!

Tory and her family have been so fun to get to know through their photography experience with us.  Tory is a very active and involved high school senior at Manitou Springs where she’s on Student Council, sings in the Honor Choir, and cheers on the Varsity Cheerleading Team.  They’ve been State Champions the last two years!  She loves being outdoors on sunny, warm days, and since she loves spending time in Garden of the Gods, it was a perfect location for her high school senior photography session.  She plans to be on the East Coast for college and for her career.  She’s set her sights on becoming a federal prosecutor.

Tory…Enjoy the New Year and the LAST SEMESTER of High School!!
