The Moran Family | Family Portraits at Rock Ledge Ranch

The Morans were gifted a session with us last Christmas and took advantage of it this fall.  The are an active and fun-loving family of three, and mom and dad adore their little girl!  They chose Rock Ledge Ranch to have that rustic, country feel to their portraits, and it was fun to meet all of them as we’d photographed their daughter when she was two (thanks to a grandma who adores her too!).

Rhiannon | Destination High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2015

Rhiannon is from Wisconsin, and when she was planning to be in Colorado Springs earlier this year, chose us to take her high school senior pictures!  She really has unique portraits from the rest of her graduating class, and it was a highlight from her trip out to Colorado!  We helped match her to locations for her session, and we used downtown, Cheyenne Canyon, and Garden of the Gods to give lots of diversity in the settings of her session.  Enjoy favorites from her session!

The Amoroso Family | Family Portraits in Garden of the Gods

This is one of those families that feel like friends from the moment we meet.  We’ve had so much fun getting to know them from the pre-session consultation to the session and then helping them choose the art for their home.  We share many common interests and values – including hockey, school, and faith – and have just been touched to be the ones to create their first family portraits!  They chose Garden of the Gods and took Jon to the exact place where they’d exchanged wedding vows – super special and a neat part of the unique story in their portraits.

Here’s some of what they shared in an email to us recently:

We wanted to let you know how much we treasure our photos and the experience both of you provided. Neither of us are terribly comfortable in front of the camera, but Jon put us right at ease and was able to get some amazing shots. Additionally, he was super patient with our son, which is a big plus.  We cannot tell you how appreciative we are of your willingness to reschedule us several times due to sickness, weather, and a tragic haircut.  Finally, the selection process was a true pleasure. It was wonderful to get to view the photos and utilize your software so we would know exactly how our selection was going to look in our living room. You were very patient with us during this process and we simply couldn’t be happier with the results.  Again, thank you so much for all of your hard work. We can’t wait to work with you both again in the future!

Elisa | Air Academy High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2015

Elisa describes herself as fun, artistic, and a little goofy.  She loves laughter and fun.  She’s active with Air Academy High School’s marching band where she’s in color guard.  She had a great time with our longer Senior Experience senior pictures session and chose the locations of Manitou Springs, Cheyenne Canyon, and Monument Valley Park.  Enjoy the rest of senior year, Elisa, and beginning college next Fall – the time’s going to go by so fast!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We love Thanksgiving and setting aside a day for reflecting on all the things in life for which we’re grateful!  Like so many of you, Faith and Family top our list of “things we’re thankful for.”  We are also continually and deeply thankful for our photography business and the clients who come to us each year.  Know that you are valued and appreciated beyond what our words can express.  May you enjoy a day surrounded by family and with a heart of thankfulness.

We thought it fitting on Thanksgiving to share some of our own family portraits from just a few weeks ago in Cheyenne Canon.  We’re passionate about photography and the legacy of great portraits, and we’re not just wanting that for our clients – we do it for ourselves.  And after we photograph our family, we sit down and choose our favorites and then order wall art, cards, and albums – just as we do with our client families and using the same great prints and products offered to our client families.  Our business is a reflection of us and a reflection of what we value – it’s our best and we’re so thankful for the many families who choose us and our photography for their own families each year.
