Congratulations, Eric & Ai, on a marriage that is 10 years strong! This vibrant, happy couple had a great time with their photography session at Garden of the Gods. Their images portray happiness, fun & laughter, romance, and that sense of two people who are so comfortable together that even everyday moments are filled with gratitude for doing life together. And we have to give some props to Ai…the timing of their session was just before knee surgery, and she kept a sense of adventure throughout!

Over the years, we’ve enjoyed a great partnership with Adventures Out West, a fantastic company here in Colorado Springs that specializes in outdoor adventures in the beauty of our city. When you’re looking for a local adventure or have family or friends visiting, think of them for everything from Segway tours through Garden of the Gods, high country and foothills jeep tours, hot air balloon rides, mountain biking, and zip lining! When we photograph these adventures, we take our family or friends on that adventure, and we’re now featured on billboards through town…which is why we’re “kinda” famous!

The Larsons are a family of faith, fun, and laughter. They are embarking on a new call to join the ministry of Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) that seeks to “transform lives through aviation and technology”. It’s a wide-reaching mission, and we’re thrilled the Larsons are joining in the work God is doing through MAF! Click on the link above to learn more about this great organization; the financial support for this ministry impacts so many people. “Lives of people living in isolation were changed because of the services MAF was able to provide. Remote communities received Bibles in their own languages for the first time. Church leaders were trained and equipped to take the Gospel to their own people. Children got life-saving medical care. Hope is the youngest daughter in her family, and over the past handful of years, we’ve loved getting to know this Texas family as we’ve photographed each daughter for senior portraits! Each session has been completely different – a natural, rustic session for oldest sister, Grace; a vintage session for middle sister, Faith; and a clean, modern, session for Hope. Hope’s session featured areas all around downtown Colorado Springs and also highlighted her interest in Japanese culture. Jon enjoyed new places and the creative challenge of bringing together great portraiture with architectural elements and modern settings.
