Adam | Fountain Valley School High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2014

Think you have to wait for the season to change to do outdoor portraits?  Think again!  For the brave and adventurous, winter weather makes for some amazing portraits that are truly unique.  Adam is one of these brave and adventurous souls who recently had his high school senior portraits taken on quite the snowy day.  After showing his pictures to his family, his younger sister just might also wait for winter weather when it’s her turn for senior pictures.  We know Adam’s portraits from this wintery day at Garden of the Gods will bring back all the fun and meaningful times from his high school years where he’s competed in both golf and lacrosse.  Best wishes, Adam, for the final months of high school…we wish you the best as you take your next steps in life’s journey.

Okay Adam. You’re a pretty tough cookie. I count at least three wardrobe changes and I doubt there was a heated trailer on the set.

But the effort was worth it. These are COOL!

Adam:
Great pictures! What a lovely way to capture high school in the Rockies.

Leah | Baby Portraits at 3 months

This beautiful girl is the third baby for this family to welcome into the world, and we have photographed each of their daughters.  It’s a highlight in our business when we continue to photograph the milestones for a family and get to be a part of the growth and changes in their lives.  This newest addition to their family is one loved girl…it’s clear that her older sisters just adore her already!

The Zamora Family | Winter Family Portraits at Garden of the Gods

We have loved photographing and getting to know this sweet family!  It’s the year for their 10th Anniversary and also a year that will bring a move away from the Springs, so the images we created for them are so special.  Their family portraits and the ones of this vibrant couple capture the memories of their time living in Colorado as well as mark a huge milestone in their marriage.  What an honor for us to be entrusted with these memories.  And it’s always so rewarding and fun to experience a family’s reaction to their portraits and watch them fall in love with the images.  Truly awesome.  We LOVE what we do!!

Jeremiah + Danielle | Wedding Photography | The Broadmoor & Gateway Church

Jeremiah & Danielle enjoyed a beautiful December wedding day just a handful of weeks ago!  We have a lot of fun with December weddings since our own wedding was in December and love the beauty of snow, the crispness in the air, and the festive spirit of Christmas right around the corner.  This wedding day was also especially meaningful since we’ve gotten to know Danielle’s family throughout the past handful of years, photographing senior portraits, family portraits, and professional portraits for their church staff at Gateway Church.  They’ve just become really special people to us, so to be invited to photograph Danielle’s wedding has truly been an honor.  We’re excited to share some of the special moments and memories of their day…beginning at The Broadmoor where they prepared for their day and had first look moments between father & bride and then bride & groom and lots of great portraits in that beautiful place, to enjoying the sunset as we all traveled to Gateway Church for the ceremony and reception.  It was a day full of tender moments as two families connected and a new family began, all centered around an amazing Creator and loving Savior.

Ellen | Cheyenne Mountain High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2014

Ellen is a thoughtful, spunky senior at Cheyenne Mountain High School who loves theater.  She came to us initially for just a yearbook session and then upgraded to our one-hour senior session and chose Garden of the Gods for her location.  She had a great time featuring her favorite formal dress to start that portion of her photography session, and Jon created some beautiful images for her family!

Ellen, we wish you the best for your last semester of high school!
