The Ballou Family | Family Photography in Cheyenne Canyon

Meet the Ballou Family!  They are a spunky, fun-loving, and active family who have kept us laughing and smiling during our time photographing and presenting their portraits to them!  They chose Cheyenne Canyon for their family portraits session and caught the fall colors in a vibrant way when they had their session a couple months ago.  We’re excited to share our favorites with you and hope that we have snow this winter as they are looking to do another session with snow!

The Abbotts | Family Portraits in Cheyenne Canyon

The Abbott’s are a vibrant couple with a full house of four-legged family, and we were so blessed to provide family photography for them and their very loved pups!  Quite a few of our families choose to have their pets participate in part of their session, and this photography session in Cheyenne Canon had a huge focus on these beautiful, friendly dogs.  They are also beginning a new business, The Beez Neez Barkery, so if you love your pups, be on the lookout for that!

We’ve so enjoyed our time getting to know them, and they had this to say about their experience with us:

“I just wanted to give a heart felt THANK YOU to Jonathan and Lindsay for such an amazing experience. I called Lindsay to let her know what Nikk and I were looking for in a photo. We are such outdoors type people and we wanted to incorporate that into our family photo’s. We wanted to bring the outdoors inside our home. Lindsay listened to everything we were looking for and explained it perfectly to Jonathan. Jonathan made everything seem so easy. He had an art to make all four pups look at him at the same time. We have never been able to capture a perfect photo. Jonathan did this in just a few moments. This group is so amazing on so many levels. When we went to look at our proofs with Lindsay were blown away by the quality and perfection Jonathan was able to capture in our photo’s. We were so blown away that Lindsay had to get the both of us a tissue. We just picked up our final photo’s from them and already handed out two business cards. If you are looking for quality, sincerity, communication and no pressure type of company this is your company. Thank you Jonathan and Linday for giving us memories to cherish for a lifetime.”

Enjoy some of our favorites from their portrait session…

It’s Good to Be Grateful at Thanksgiving

We just returned from a wonderful time with Jon’s side of our family back in St. Louis and had such a great time visiting, playing, and just enjoying being together.  We hope you were able to do the same and celebrate the blessing of your family and friends over the holiday week.  And we thought we’d share a few of our most recent family portraits we did earlier this month (done by Jon using tripod and timer).  It’s amazing how much our kids have grown and changed…it’s too true that “The days are long but the years are short.”  Natalie is now 4 1/2 and Tyler just celebrated birthday #3.  And get a kick out of Jon’s little “mini-me” in Tyler…not only in looks but he LOVES his little camera!
