Aynsley & Hope | High School Senior Portraits Class of 2011

Aynsley & Hope are twins and have quite a fun family! Their parents both make me laugh with their total honesty and the friendly, family banter. It’s clear that these sisters are great friends and enjoy being together. We did their session together in a huge marathon session downtown, on the campus of Colorado College, and in Cheyenne Canyon. Helen Hunt Falls was a great stop along the way, and we love the picture of the two of them at the Falls. Enjoy!

William | Pine Creek High School Class of 2011 | Senior Portraits

William came to us wanting a modern, clean look for his portraits, so we planned his session for The Cornerstone Arts Building at Colorado College and The Fine Arts Center. Jon loved the fresh challenge of William’s session and loved really taking the time to compose and light each image. We LOVE pretty much everything from his session, so we’ve included his movie along with a few top favorites. And we’re really impressed with William in general…he’s actually bilingual as he grew up most of his life in Korea, and he’s applying for the Air Force Academy. We wish him the best in that endeavor! Enjoy!

A special thank you to Class of 2010 Senior, Emma, who introduced us to the group, Owl City, whose song we used in William’s movie. We love this song a lot…you should check them out!!

These are just wonderful! Tell him he could be a model. Great clothes! Maybe you should start doing photo shoots for models 🙂

Becca | Air Academy High School Class of 2011 | Senior Portraits

Becca was referred to us by the triplets, Kristen, Stephanie, & Scott. As always, it’s such a compliment to us when a current family introduces us to a new family. And then when we met Becca and her mom, we found out that they actually know another family of ours, the Langhals. Her session was full of fun colors and places all throughout Manitou Springs! Following a theme of “water” this summer, her session ended at the well-known Graffiti Falls (or Rainbow Falls if you use it’s real name). Prior to this summer, we’d never been there, but we’ve been a handful of times now. The falls always make for great pictures! Enjoy a handful of our favorites…

Morgan | Falcon High School Class of 2011 High School Senior Portraits

Morgan just came to pick up her order today, and it’s always so fun to deliver an order to a family. It’s the final part of the whole experience of having professional portraits taken, and while we like to think that we make the whole experience fun and memorable, getting to see and hold your actual art is so exciting! Morgan chose downtown Colorado Springs, Monument Valley Park, and Old Colorado City for her senior session. Here are a few of our favorites…

The Spotts Family | Family Photography at Garden of the Gods

This was a very special session because it was the first time that the Spotts family had done portraits outdoors! All their other experiences with professional photography had been in a studio, and we’re so glad we got to give them an experience of pictures in the beautiful outdoor setting of Garden of the Gods. We love outdoor sessions because they allow for breaks in between photography locations, give kids a chance to relax and play and run off some extra energy during the session, and they provide an experience in and of itself while you’re taking your pictures. All of our families always comment that they had so much fun together just taking the pictures…we love that! It’s one of our goals that every session is fun and creates lasting memories. I’m sure their oldest daughter will always laugh when she remembers getting her shoe stuck in between a couple rocks after one of our spots for pictures! Enjoy a few favorites and a look at the collection we created to feature their beautiful kids…
