Kati | Rampart High School Senior Photography | Class of 2013

Without a doubt, Kati was our most unique session to photograph for the Class of 2013.  They are all fun and different in their own ways, but the look Kati wanted for her session was truly spunky, dramatic, fun, and unique.  One of her biggest requests was to have a big portion of her session after dark, so you’ll see a very different tone to her images.  Kati herself has a spunky look of her own, and combined with Jon’s photography and artistic eye, they had a great time together creating senior pictures that met all of her hopes for what she wanted her senior pictures to be.  We love delivering the images our clients desire, and Jon loved the challenge and freshness of Kati’s requests and vision.  Congratulations, Kati, on graduation from Rampart High School…we wish you a bright future and know you’ll stay true to who you are as you pursue life as a high school grad!

Caleb | Sand Creek High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2013

Where does the time go??  We photograph our high school seniors like crazy from June-October and a handful of others in more of an off-season time, and in the midst of everything, all of a sudden, they’ve graduated and I’ve yet to blog from the session!  Time for some big catch up since the Class of 2014 is starting their turn for awesome senior photography with us!!

Caleb is now a GRADUATE of Sand Creek High School where he played football.  He’s a friendly, likeable guy who’s fun to talk to and who was really excited to feature his sportsmanship on the shooting range, his very loved white jeep, and his love for the outdoors during his senior picture session that used the shooting range, Sand Creek High School, Cheyenne Canyon, and Gold Camp Road.  Congratulations, Caleb, on officially graduating high school!

The Schreifels Family | Family Photography at Garden of the Gods

We love that we recently photographed the Schreifels Family!  We’ve know them for quite some time, almost since we had first moved to Colorado Springs, and get to see them at church and around the neighborhood too!  It’s been really fun to watch their kids grow up (and they have watched us go from “just the two of us” to a family of 4!), and we have another babysitter in the mix from their family 🙂  With as fast as the years go by, it was certainly a treat to photograph them again and celebrate a time of new milestones in their family’s life.

Jass | Sand Creek High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2013

With graduation around the corner for the Class of 2013, we’ll be trying to complete our blogging from our awesome high school senior photography sessions for this graduating class.  Jass was very fun for Jon to photograph and chose Old Colorado City for her photography session.  During her session, they stumbled upon an awesome car shop with some amazing vehicles.  Jon was able to take some one-of-a-kind portraits of Jass with a few of the cars.  Her session was full of great images, so enjoy the handful we’ve chosen to feature!  Best wishes, Jass, as you complete senior year and become a GRADUATE of Sand Creek High School!

Brody + Tracey | Destination Wedding Photography | Laramie, Wyoming

Brody and Tracey’s wedding this past fall was truly special!  They are from Colorado Springs, but with Tracey in graduate school currently and at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, they’ve relocated for a time and were married there.  Tracey wanted a museum setting, and it was humorous to hear that her choices were either a prison museum (obviously not what they chose!) or the Ivinson Mansion (what they DID choose).  The Ivinson Mansion was quite fitting for their day, and Tracey really put amazing touches on all of her decorations, bouquet, and throughout their day.  This was probably my favorite wedding for seeing a bride’s vision come together with her own efforts and creativity.  We’ve shared lots of favorites to give you highlights of their day, including a day-before portrait session with them around both the mansion and the university campus.  Congratulations to you both…we loved traveling to Wyoming and sharing in all your wedding day moments!

The Wedding Day!

Tracey created a very unique bouquet and corsages using material from her mother’s wedding dress…amazing!!

Portraits inside the Ivinson Mansion Museum…

Brody made the cake stands himself, and Tracey made each of the cakes…
