Nikki & Nick | Family Portraits at Garden of the Gods

There is something just so precious and special about a session that get to focus in on a parent & child relationship, and we were blessed to capture fantastic portraits of Nikki with her son, Nick.  Her husband was deployed with our military, so this session was one that gave Nikki memories from this time when it’s just been her and Nick.  And since they’ve just recently moved from Colorado Springs, they are portraits that capture their time in Colorado.  Enjoy our favorites from a great session in Garden of the Gods!

Alexis | Rampart High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2012

Alexis came to us because she wanted different and unique images for her senior pictures.  She’s lived in Colorado Springs her whole life and wanted a very urban feel for most of her session.  We used downtown Colorado Springs, railroad tracks, the junkyard, and Rainbow Falls in Manitou Springs as the locations for her session.

Alexis, enjoy senior year at Rampart High School, and our best to you as you graduate in the spring and move into a new chapter in your life!

Kailey | Doherty High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2012

Kailey is a fun and caring high school senior at Doherty High School.  We first met her family a few years ago through the Dave Karsten’s American Family Insurance Agency.  Dave Karsten’s office has provided a family portrait sitting to their clients around Thanksgiving in past years, and Kailey’s family was one of our first families to take advantage of that offer!  It’s been fun to work with them again for Kailey’s senior portraits, and we love all the colorful images from her session in Old Colorado City.

Austin | Vista Ridge High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2012

Austin’s family found us through a referral from another family we’ve worked with.  Austin’s athletic and very interested in sports, especially basketball!  The majority of his session was at Garden of the Gods, and when his mom saw some of the pictures out on top of rocks where it looks like you’re on top of the world, she was glad she wasn’t there when the pictures were being taken!   Austin’s plans after graduating from Vista Ridge High School in the spring are to go into broadcasting.  Best wishes to you, Austin!

Katelyn | Doherty High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2012

Katelyn’s family found us through Groupon, and it was fun to connect that we’re members of the same church, Woodmen Valley Chapel!  Katelyn’s outgoing, laid back, and down to earth, and we loved getting to know her and her family.  She’s the oldest of four in her family, and they’ve got a lot of love for each other, mixed in with a fun amount of banter.  🙂

Katelyn has her sights set on attending college in Kansas, and she plans on majoring in bakery sciences.  That is a field of study that I know nothing about, but I would imagine it would be incredibly interesting and possibly include lots of taste-testing, which I’d love!

Here are our favorites from her session…
