Samantha | Colorado Springs High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2026

Samantha has a very unique high school experience as she competes at both the national and international stages in competitive ice skating. At this high level, she has intense multi-hour practices daily and lives most of the year in the city of her coaches, balancing her training schedule with completing all of her schooling online. We captured her senior portraits on one of her trips to be home and spend time with her family in Colorado Springs.

Samantha envisioned her senior portraits capturing the beauty of our Front Range mountains alongside flowers, and we found her the perfect setting to fill those requests!

We are excited to share favorites with you and wish her the best as she takes her next steps, possibly to pursue a degree in Business.

Max | Colorado Springs High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2026

We have known this amazing family since 2007 when we captured the wedding of Max’s parents! We have watched him grow up much of his life and seen them over the years for commercial photography and professional headshots for their career and Drum School and family portraits at key moments…and now the milestone of high school senior portraits for their oldest son, Max.

Max is an amazing young man. His faith is mature beyond his years, he lives his life with integrity, and he’s both athletic and musically talented. His athleticism served him well on both soccer and football teams over the years, and he loves hockey as a fan. His musical talents excel in drumming…no wonder since his dad is one of the top drummers in the world!

Max chose Garden of the Gods as the setting for his portraits. He’s dreaming of the potential of a move to another state as his adult life unfolds, so these senior portraits will always capture the beauty of Colorado Springs and ping his memories of his time in this area. He’s looking to pursue Real Estate for his career. One of our popular finished pieces for our high school senior families is a framed collage for the wall. It’s the primary keepsake his parents chose for their home, and we’re sharing it below!

Congratulations, Max, on your graduation. It’s been an honor to watch you grow up, to have your family as friends, and to know you as well as we do. Keep your eyes with an upward gaze always. You’re going to do great things!

The Dobbyn Family | Colorado Springs Family & High School Seniors Professional Photography | Legacy Portrait Art

We photographed both senior portraits and family portraits for this lively and fun-loving family this past fall! When families book a senior session with us, they unlock the opportunity for a FREE family session. Reaching that culminating milestone of childhood that simultaneously brings an ending of having that son or daughter full-time in the house pings many families to create fresh family portraits before the season changes.

Since their daughter is their oldest, these family portraits will forever connect them to the capstone of the full-time, family-of-four years of raising both their kids in the home together. We trust these family portraits that hang on the wall and in our very fun Accent Trio of tabletop metal art pieces will be a hug to the heart and forever bring to mind the best memories from this season.

The fall colors were at peak for their session, and we love the autumnal tones they chose for their family session attire. Wearing the colors of the season will always complement the natural elements and also “sell the season” in the finished portraits. Their attire augmented the season and brought a cozy warmth to the composition.

Their 9-year-old son is a joy to be around – he’s inquisitive, funny, and clearly loves his big sister. He became Jon’s special helper during the sessions. You’ll see their son “at work” alongside favorites from both their family and senior portraits. A big congratulations to their senior on her upcoming graduation – we know your family is so proud of all your accomplishments and your service through JrROTC during your high school years. We are blessed to have been their choice for portrait art to freeze this moment in time for their family.

Owen | Air Academy High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2026

Owen’s family has been a client family since 2016 for family portraits, senior portraits, and even professional headshots. Their loyalty is both a huge compliment and also such a joy for us! We loved capturing Owen’s senior portraits across a few different sessions. While Owen enjoys hiking and fishing and has a strong affinity for hip hop culture, the place where you’ll find him most is on the basketball court. He has competed for years on both school and club teams. With the strong place basketball holds in his life, he has images from both his urban session and an additional session devoted to basketball – Jon loved the opportunity for fresh creativity on the court of his high school for that dedicated basketball session we completed for him at the start of this new year.

Congratulations, Owen, on your upcoming graduation – we have loved capturing your senior portraits as a capstone to the family portraits we have created over the years. We wish you our best with all your next steps!

Lizzie | Vista Ridge High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2026

We loved reconnecting with Lizzie’s family for her senior photography after first meeting them in 2021 to create her older brother’s senior portraits! It’s truly one of our favorite compliments when we earn the repeat business of a family and experience that loyalty.

Lizzie has a vibrant, cheerful personality with an impressive skill set benefiting Vista Ridge’s marching band Color Guard and Drum Corps. She has done specialized training and been on an invitational national Color Guard as well.

For her senior portraits, she was open to suggestions and loved our recommendation for the great fall colors offered in Cheyenne Cañon. The variety of trees there showcase the changing leaves of the fall season so well, and with our 20 years of experience, we know the window of time to capture these colors during our portrait sessions. Fall colors are certainly never a guarantee, but this was a great season for them, and Lizzie’s portraits are full of autumn colors.

Lizzie also wins for Most Outfits for a One Hour Session for the Class of 2026 😉 Usually our seniors feature 3-4 outfits for a one-hour session, but Lizzie’s ambition met with her speedy outfit changes gave her SIX different looks in her portraits! Plus awesome ones to tell the story of all her involvement with Color Guard. She also chose so well a variety of colors that all flattered her coloring and leaning to solid colors that offer timeless appeal.

After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in Interior Design. We wish her our best. We had such a fun time creating her portraits and again thank her family for their continued business and trust.
