Katrina is a senior with a strong sense of self and confidence. She describes herself as intelligent, competitive, honest, and somewhat of an over-achiever. She’s set her sights on graduating as valedictorian, so she’s not one to be slacking off in this final semester at Sand Creek High School! She’s already been completing college-level classes at PPCC. Katrina loves creative writing and working on novels. She has a strong artistic side and enjoys painting, sculpting, and drawing. She’s heavily involved in Junior Optimist International and has served in the leadership for her chapter and the Colorado-Wyoming District. And if all that hasn’t kept her busy enough, she’s spent many years playing competitive inline hockey. Whew!
We’ve loved reconnecting with this family for a new round of senior portraits, and as a returning family, they knew coming into the pre-session consultation that they wanted the multi-hour Senior Experience session. Rather than choose two locations, the longer session was used to explore much deeper into Red Rock Canyon. The additional time allowed Jon to take portraits off the typical path used during one-hour sessions, bringing a freshness to much of her settings in this beautiful place.
As she finishes high school, she’s set her sights on pursuing a business degree and sees herself as a future entrepreneur. Katrina, we wish you all our best as you complete high school and begin new chapters in life!
